The source table places an availability marker beside each company and county, then reports separate totals for the on-exchange and off-exchange columns.
The method is intentionally narrow so the result does not imply more than the source supports.
We used the Florida OIR table titled “Individual Market Availability by Company” for Plan Year 2026.
For each of Florida’s 67 county rows, we transcribed only the final On Exchange and Off Exchange totals.
We retained the county-level counts and did not infer, rank, recommend, or display company names.
We checked that the dataset contains 67 unique county rows and kept the source publication date and direct PDF link with the data.
Treat the count as a market-orientation step. Then verify the choices that affect an actual enrollment decision.
Use HealthCare.gov’s plan preview or the applicable official Marketplace. A county count is not a substitute for a current plan search.
Review the Summary of Benefits and Coverage, provider directory, formulary, referral rules, prior authorization, deductible, and out-of-pocket limit.
More reported issuers does not prove lower premiums or a better fit. Final prices and Marketplace savings require the household’s official application details.
The explorer’s counts come only from the Florida OIR PDF. The federal links below are for checking current plans and the documents that matter when comparing them.
After confirming current availability, compare the exact premium, cost sharing, network, and prescription coverage. If a detail is missing, mark it as unresolved instead of assuming.
